Who AM I

My story began in the mountains of Panama.I’m Armando Rosas, a Panamanian tour leader and certified guide with more than 18 years of experience exploring, discovering, and sharing the country I call home.It all started in Boquete, surrounded by mountains, coffee farms, forest trails, and local people who taught me that every place has a story — and that sometimes, the best stories are found far beyond the main road.What began as a love for the outdoors gradually became a way of life. Over the years, I’ve traveled across Panama, from remote mountain trails and cloud forests to rivers, coastlines, rural villages, and places rarely found on a typical itinerary.But for me, travel has never been just about reaching a destination.It’s about understanding the landscape, meeting the people who call it home, and discovering what makes each place unique. It’s about traveling with curiosity, respecting the environment, and making sure that tourism creates a positive impact on the communities and places we visit.Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of sharing Panama with travelers from all over the world. Every group has given me a different perspective on my own country — and reminded me that no matter how many times I visit a place, there is always something new to discover.And after more than 18 years, that feeling hasn’t changed.I still love putting on my boots, heading down a trail, finding a new corner of Panama, and wondering what’s around the next corner.Panama has been my greatest journey. And I’d love to share it with you.
